I got married at 20, divorced at 31, and at 34 I upgraded to the most amazing husband ever. Best. Decision. Ever.

I’m a mom of five awesome humans: two grown and married girls, one middle schooler, one elementary schooler, and one bonus high-school boy who keeps life interesting. ❤️

By day I’m a bug-squashing superhero—armed with nothing but a flyswatter and pure determination.

I want to be a minimalist, but honestly… I’m more of a “work in progress” kind of gal.

I’m a lazy hair-doer. I adore pretty hair; I do not adore doing hair. So hats. Hats everywhere. 🤷🏻

Same for makeup. Mascara, concealer, lip gloss, and we’re calling it good.

I’m constantly juggling 47 things at once and pretending it’s no big deal (please don’t look too closely).

I love animals so much that I simply cannot eat them. End of story.

I’m 48, and I love getting older—but the wrinkles can take several seats.

I’m always learning, growing, messing up, fixing it, and doing my best to level up as a human.

I am obsessed with old homes. Like, full-blown love affair obsessed.

I hate cold weather… and yet I live in Indiana. I don’t want to talk about it 🙈

There’s a 10-year gap between my first set of kids and my second set. That is HUGE in mom-years. 25-year-old Lisa had endless energy. 35-year-old Lisa said, “Yeah… let’s work smarter, not harder.” ✌🏻

I live in Indiana, but deep down I am a Michigan girl to my core. GO BLUE!
